    Basic Functions: 

    Assemble seating systems


    Specific Duties: 

    • Assemble seating systems using established procedures and policies and through teamwork in a fast pace environment.
    • Job may require lifting to 30 pounds, moderate amount of twisting, bending, reaching, pushing & pulling, occasional walking, significant hand/eye coordinated movements & fine finger movements for an extended period of time.
    • Accept personal accountability for assignments, and meeting job requirements.
    • Demonstrate, respectful behavior to maintain a positive work environment, meet our customers’ needs, and build a successful organization.
    • Complete assignments/tasks in a timely manner and do your best every day.
    • Provide high quality products and services to our customers. Exceed the customers’ (external and internal) increasing expectations.

    • Maintain a 5-S environment. This means to: Separate & Scrap, Sort, Scrub, Standardize, and Systematize.

    • Perform other tasks as assigned by Team Leader and/or Production Supervisor.
    • Implement and utilize methods for continuous improvement.
    • Stop production if defective or unsafe parts or conditions appear.
    • Conserve resources as part of the Setex environmental philosophy (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) and do your part to support these initiatives.
